Early Years Are Learning Years™: is an ongoing effort to focus attention on the importance of the early years for children's learning and all aspects of development. EYLYs are short articles designed for parents and other adults involved with children on a daily basis. Early childhood programs involved in the NAEYC accreditation process frequently use these articles in newsletters to help families and others learn more about giving children a great start. Note: Reproduction of the Early Years Are Learning Years™ is freely granted, provided credit is given to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Early Years Are Learning Years™ releases are posted here each month. You may browse the titles from the last few years; or, use this easy index to select those titles related to your topic of interest. Recent Early Years Are Learning Years™: *** Quality Programs Nurture Relationships to Enhance Young Children’s Learning *** Your child’s first report card *** Helping young children start school *** Choosing a Preschool *** Singing as a Teaching Tool *** Helping Toddlers Become Problem Solvers Previous EYLY Releases are searchable from this website.
